I love Samatta. Genuinely.

If we do go down this season, I hope a/ we keep him and b/ sort out our problems in defence.

Same, what a likeable player. Busy, positive, takes his chances. If we do go down he’ll score a shit load in the championship .

This next 45 will be the hardest second half all season, DS must organise us better against the Man City wide play, ripping us apart, still in this, its going to be massively hard, but we are Villa, we do hard.

Samatta is quality boys. Absolute quality. Special shout out to AEG that cross was superb.

City are bloody good. We are having trouble containing sterling on that right side.  Elmos need to be getting back quicker

Just too easy for them, they hardly had to get out of 1st gear. Still, the goal gives us a sliver of hope.

Gotta change our shape, too exposed on the wings, though we then could be outnumbered in the middle.

Targett has to go off anyway, I'd try Elmo on left. Could try Konsa and switch to a 5 or Hourihane in midfield. Finished the half well and still in the game. Fine assist from AEG and header from Samatta.

Tempted to stick Davis on.

Yes, absolutely. Get someone making a nuisance of themselves amongst the City defenders.

I love two up front. It's a dying art

Only question is who to take off. Perhaps Gulibert and move AEM to RB.

I'd make a move while we're still in the game as won't be long until they bring likes of De Bruyne, Mahrez etc on. No good making 2-3 subs at 3-1.

Give Stones more problems. Fernandinho can't cover for him everytime.

we need the ball first. Our possession rate must bre  be low.

We’re so weak at fullback. Targett is a waste of a shirt in this formation.

If only we had mcginn to unleash second half i think we would have a great chance.

I think smith needs to use stones vulerability and put more pressure on their hack four

Destroying us in fullback areas. Grealish not in it so far, Doug and Elmo doing ok. Samagoal hasn’t been in it, but does what he’s paid to do when asked.
I’d have taken 2-1 HT before the game....especially seeing as 2nd goal shouldn’t have stood. If we can nullify them down the wings, anything is possible. Jack needs to step up.... second below par outing from him in a row.
Shooting towards the Holte second half too.... 😉
UTV!

Targett being destroyed
I think he's awful.

I'm closer to the man running off his back than Targett is.

We’re sat a couple of rows away from Super John.

One thing that they’ve just said on sky.  That second goal.  Tyrone isn’t marking anybody.  I don’t understand the coaching there at all.

The trouble is even though theres 45 minutes left we won't have the ball for a lot of it.
