We have some talent in the squad beyond Grealish but they're all simply too young/inexperienced to play week in week out at this level.

El Ghazi and Luiz imo have terrific games last week. Both were awful today and El Ghazi gave up after half an hour.

Steady eddie types might not have much resale value but we needed a few of them in the summer to balance out the squad. Said before but Gary Cahill would've been perfect stop gap signing for two years.

We've learnt nothing from 2015 signings imo.

Don't particularly like any of our players besides Jack and Mings.

Am not a Smith fan at all, though would love him to turn it all around.

As for..nah, fuck it. A shit match, shit performance, lack.of desire, passion, energy, and above all, ability.

Final will be a struggle next week if we play like that.

Up the Villa. Rouse yourselves Villa, you fuckers.

A struggle? We play like that next week and we’ll lose by 10.

Haha. I was using all my efforts to be positive for once.

Not getting on the manager out bandwagon, pointless at this stage in the season imo and the same posters say after most poor results. But performance wise looking likely now and feel utterly deflated (understatement of the year). Only saving grace is Bournemouth’s result and I would hope Man Utd and Liverpool doing us favours in the coming days, if those results go as would be expected it’s as you were in terms of the table more or less. But it’s difficult in the cold light of that performance to see where the next result is coming from. FFS!!!!!

It's not pointless. Pointless is sticking whilst there is a chance.

It pains me to say it but I think Dean Smith is finished here. A single shot on target at a time when we simply need to be competing for points.

He should be finished, but I bet he isn't. What's more, I fully expect the clowns who are supposedly running the show will keep him on next year when we're back in the Championship.

Just coming out of the ground now. I’ve been the first to accuse others on here of being hysterical this season but on the off chance that one of those ****** out there today (or in the management team) read this you’re a fucking disgrace and unfit to wear the shirt on that display. No tactics, no game plan, no movement. Biggest culprit of them all was Reina for strolling back after coming up for a corner. Disgraceful. Dread to think what’s going to happen next week. For the first time this season I’ve resigned myself to the fact we’re going down. A shameful embarrassment.

His body language at half time gave a lot away. As the players walked off he had his hands in his pockets, shrugging his shoulders and head bowed. Completely and utterly out of his depth and judging by that performance, he's lost the dressing room. He must go now and if he had any self-respect, he would resign.

I really fear for us next week.

Get Allardyce in to bore us to survival.  It’s our only hope.

He's got exactly the same gormless, troubled look on his face that Bruce had when he'd run out of ideas as well.

Dean Smith needs to go now and it must be this weekend, giving the next manager time to survive, we then need to appoint the right kind of manager who's sole strength and attribute is Premiership survival, as disagreeable as this is I would get Sam Allardyce on the phone, spell it out to him and leave him under no illusion he will be well rewarded if he keeps us up, come the summer we go again and then look for a longer term manager, I don't know of anybody else with his kind of experience, available and would take this job, ugly football as it would be, we can still survive but its getting very narrow indeed.
