Look at this. Absolutely not good enough pathetic

You sure that’s not Barcelona v Villa?

Eibar actually playing away to Barca currently. 3-0 down (Messi hat trick) but they've had the only corner of the game and three shots on target.

Only positive is it's only 1-0. Was like this at Brighton and we pinched a point. Would sign up right away for one.

We’ll piss The Championship.

I dont think we will. With no grealish mcginn and mings. We have very little hope.

None fo those will stick around

As easy as it is to lay the blame at Smith’s feet the players have to take some responsibility for that. Absolutely diabolical in every department. A disgrace to the shirt on that showing.

With the exception of Jack they're all his signings.

And El Ghazi.

Piss the Championship, that must be tongue in cheek, we go down I can think of at least 3 of our better player that will instantly exit, hell will freeze over before we get up again.

You just know the script, we give away another goal just before 50 mins. Then get one back in the 95th.

I'm sure we'll come out of the blocks like Linford Christie this half.

And finish like Derek Redmond.

OptaJoe on Twitter

0 - Aston Villa failed to have a single attempt on goal in the first half against Southampton – the first time the Saints have prevented their opponents from having a shot in the opening 45 minutes of a Premier League game since April 2014, also against Aston Villa. Nullified.

That’s a sure sign of a coach outwitted. Dean is getting turned inside out by his opponents.

West Ham and Watford both have tough away games against Liverpool and Man United respectively.  Hope for the best, although with our luck, we will get hammered in the Cup Final AND slip into the bottom three in the same weekend.  Win today, and the latter cannot happen as we'd move four points clear tonight. Come on Villa!!
