That has to be our bad half, on a positive note Dean has to get into the lads now, get them to focus, impress upon them the urgency and whats at stake if we lose this, we can get right back into this and take all 3 points, fingers crossed, Southampton are not a good side by any means, very beatable.

49 minutes of utter shite......again.
Our midfield is having to sit miles and miles too deep, giving them acres of space.
When we do get the ball our midfielders are sooooo far behind the play it ridiculous.
Taking jack out of the equation, the midfield is so immobile it’s what behind out piss poorness.

That was truly a very very poor half from us. The defending for the goal is more evidence that some f these players aren't good enough Im afraid, as was lots of other shockingly bad play.

We have 4 players who look genuinely good enough in Reina, Mings, Samatta and or course Jack.

Nakamba, nah.  Hause, nah.  El Ghazi, nah.  The rest, which other team would they get into in the league?

We'll see this next half if the team is still playing for Smith too.

Also, this ref.  Nah.

First, Stockley Park officials admit that VAR - which literally exists to correct and/or clarify decisions on the pitch - fucked up a major call on a red card in the Chelsea game.

Then Konsa gets the first yellow of this game despite persistent fouling from Southampton - for a foul that never even happened!

What a sideshow farce the English game has become. These PGMOL refs are all clones of the original useless c*** British referee, gutless and spineless and shite.

Think we're worse with Reina tbh

Why because the players don't think he needs protecting?

Still not too late to sack him.

Decision should have been taken before the transfer window, we have him now at least until we are mathematically down.

Problem is we are beginning to lose touch from the teams above us. Becoming a 4 team battle as we keep losing.

His apparent lack of fight must filter through to the squad.  Two winnable games against Bournemouth and Southampton, and we put up all the resistance of pre-season friendly.  It really is not good enough by a million miles.

Even Reina and Mings have been very poor. Very little communication between the pair of them. Two of their clear chances came from poor Reina passes out from the back. The only positive, Jack aside, is that it's only 1-0. Their defence and keeper seem very jittery.

You could take off any number of them at half time. But I'd go with Hourihane for Hause. Get three into midfield and push Luiz a bit further forward. Think we wasted a sub with Trez.

I think we can get back into this

It's exactly the same as at VP. We're not working as hard as Southampton. We set traps for ourselves when we have the ball. Midfield 2 are lightweight & non-existant. There is practically nothing other than Grealish & Mings holding this team together.

We're simply not good enough....

Does Luiz have weights or something in is boots, or strapped to ankles?
There has be some reason why the fucker can’t seem to sprint.
