No complaints from me. Far better than I expected.

Now let's take this into the last 10 games, win a couple and make things interesting.

If Man City win this they done it on a goal that should never have been, they will know that, we've done okay
We'd have lost and barely troubled them

Barely troubled them, what a load of fucking shite

Not sure about that.

Same here. Best realistic scenario I’d have hoped for. Better shape, bit of spirit, made them work for it to the end.

You do know they won a cup final 6-0 last season? This isn't Derby.

We were only going to have short spells of danger today. We scored a really good goal from one and could've easily got another at the end.

The only regret is we couldn't get more players gambling on the crosses we got in.

Proud of the team today. We might not have won, but we’ve rolled up our sleeves.

Well said.

Second half Man City knew they were in a game, good response from Villa, nothing to be ashamed about, anybody looking at that not a Villa or Man City fan would put that down to a good battle, well done Villa, we take that fight and spirit into the remaining games of the season and we have a chance of survival.

Think it's good next league game is Monday night rather than on Saturday. We'll need the extra 50 hours to recover from the effort we put in.

Yes, but he still has a point. We were second best for large parts of the game.

But anyway, let's not fight amongst ourselves. We weren't smashed and we weren't great.

We lost. We did not expect to win but we tried even though we were  second best. we can walk away with some positives of working hard against one of the best teams in Europe. UTV

Picture on the BBC web site with Jack flat out on his back after the final whistle. Looks like he has put a proper shift in. I think 2.1 is no disgrace against a team with some of the finest players in the PL. Lets hope we can take the positives from the game and focus on PL survival over the next 10 games and get some wins under our belt. A bit of luck wouldn't go amiss either, we're certainly overdue some. UTV!
