We concede a lot of chances but today was on another level. They didn’t have to work at all and were 1 v 1 every few minutes

Absolutely going down and deservedly so.

You can’t throw away points like that, absolutely not good enough. Again.

Between the 6 pointers we’ve bottled and the games against top half teams where we’ve flattered them deceive and pissed points away, you’re begging for relegation. One or the other you could get over the line not both.

Losing McGinn for so long plus Mings today is a huge loss. We need our better players fit. At least SJM should play the last 6 or 7 games.

When you defend like we do you’re making clean sheets and wins against any half decent team a statistical anomaly. Coaching and tactics are there to stack the numbers in your favour and the rest is on the players. Smith and our whole coaching set up I’m afraid stack the cards against us.

Thought the back three did so much better today without 'Billy big bollocks' Mings.

Assume that's sarcasm!!

We were fucking embarrassing defensively today.

Reina had a good game, but couldn’t he have taken 10 seconds longer with the kick or played it short or just kicked it straight out for a throw, somewhere near the halfway line? There were only 55 seconds left on the clock.

If we do go down, Smith’s persistence, first with Wesley and now with Drinkwater will be one of the reasons.

What a dissapointment and for me down to poor game management again.  By all means bring Baston with Samatta but to replace a player who I thought had a fantastic game and constantly put their defence under pressure was baffling and a game changer.  The fact we stopped being a threat at the top caused the goal.  No way we deserved to lose but somehow that happened

Got to be. How someone would come to that conclusion about Mings I have no idea

OK we're angry. We're disappointed. It was a shocking mistake; but surely there is no room for all the personal abuse on here for individual players; especially with all the stuff about the Heads Up campaign going on. Criticism yes; personal vindictive, vicious abuse, no thanks.

If ( and it is a big if ) we play like this we can win games but we have never been consistent to say the least.
Anyway  come on villa.

Didn’t deserve that.

I'm sorry but we absolutely did. We didn't take our chances. We gifted them lots and lots before the winner. Reina stood on his fucking head all game to deny them. We were beaten for being precisely who and what we are and have been all season long.

Reina was amazing today.. and he let up 3 goals. That says a lot.

We are cursed.

We're not cursed. We're just not very good at all.
Jeez, give it a rest

Give what a rest?
