Well my expectations are now zero for this afternoon. I'm seeing the game over by half time. Too many Steady Eddies and not enough game changers in that line up. If we can survive until half time hopefully a few from the bench can make the difference. If you offered me a point now I'd bite your hand off.

Love to know the thinking behind why Ditchwater gets a start.

Woke up thinking this is the day we get a big result. Don't feel so confident now. We've been so poor with Mings leadership from the back. Protecting goal difference exercise?

Defence without Mings, and a free pass for Spurs straight through the middle of our midfield. We’re in for a pasting!
Should have gone 451 or an all guns blazing 442.
Was feeling confident earlier in the week - Fear the worst now.
We can not afford the luxury of getting Drinkwater match fit in our position, which only highlights the ridiculousness of signing him in the first place?!

Mings being out is big.

Drinkwater in, isn't as bad, perhaps he's been playing well behind closed doors and is much fitter.

All of a sudden this looks really hard.

What has Drinkwater done to warrant a start? Smith must like being in the bottom four.

He makes a rod for his own back does Smith.

If we do end up going down, I wonder if he'll regret such crap decisions? It isn't the first time, that's for sure.

Come on Villa.

Drinkwater?

Disappointined with that selection to say the least. With Mings out we look like a colander down the middle.

No Mings, big blow.  Tottenham look defensive too but I reckon Moaninho will try to stifle us in the middle of the park and settle for a 1-0 up, park the bus type of performance.  Fuck it Villa, nothing to lose, nothing expected of us, go and have a proper go at them.

I’d have switched out Hause and added an extra body in midfield. Not sure there will be enough organisation in a back 3 without Mings shouting at them.
Should have Nakamba in there.... at the very least, in place of Drinkwater. Winter break where you’d hope things get ironed out, and first thing we’re greeted with is that line-up?!

Surprise me Villa!

You'd have picked Drinkwater? On what basis?
