As David Conn points out here, this isn't about FFP.

Interesting how he says they aggressively fought to get more of the shared pool of Premier League money.

Fuck them, the c***s.

My only thought on hearing this, was that hopefully it will fire them up for their next game, which is West Ham on Wednesday.

It would be enjoyable if Abu Dhabi decided that it was off too.

There was a ripple of excitement in the pub when this news came out but I was stoic in my "it'll be overturned" stance and remain firm in that view.
See Chelsea's recent transfer ban.

Chelsea's transfer ban was reduced, not overturned. They were still banned from signing anyone last summer.

And they'd have been well fooked had we not honed their centre-forward for them.

I believe Man City will spend a fortune on legal challenges and get the punishment suspended whilst doing this. Eventually settling for a much reduced punishment as UEFA won’t want to risk a long expensive battle and losing (which would be disastrous for them)

No doubt their money will make things go away. What a vile bunch.

Agreed, but equally we probably would have been fooked without him.

Pep and Augero will be off.

Pep likes a change every few years anyway so he will be off to Juventus. Sergio Aguero will end up back in Argentina. I think there must be some official rule that means all Argentinian footballers have to finish their careers in Argentina.
