Ahem. Claret + 1 game. Definitely. No question about it.

I guess that was my point. I understand Claret Membership has a fee and you can get some benefits (a membership pack when it turns up etc!) but there will be other fans who choose to attend 1 game a season instead for the same price give or take a few quid.
I said that because I'm a Claret Member who has just the one game on his booking history this season (Norwich). ;-)

Now, given that I live as far away from Birmingham as you can get on the French mainland, I can only see myself getting to two or three games in a season. A Claret Membership is worth it for that. I'd understand if one game is not enough for me to buy a League Cup final ticket but if it is then yes please!

To be fair you’re the kind of fan I’m thinking of!
It’s tough as demand will always outstrip supply and how to allocate is not easy.

Not suggesting anyone is more deserving than others but there a lot of fans who can’t get to games for valid reasons who would make the effort. And I guess as someone else pointed out season tickets holders who wouldn’t take up their guaranteed seat based on cost and opposition.

I’ve been a member since it was introduced as Villa cash, mainly because I can’t make every game especially midweek or games changed by sky, but wanted the chance to go to away games as well as home games. It’s certainly been a worthwhile investment over the years, this year not so much as even ST’s are missing out on away games. I don’t think anyone realistically thought we would be having a Wembley trip this year, but it’s definitely a bonus, hope my 6 game booking history is enough this year, if not, then so be it as I’m sure they will be distributed as fair as possible. I’d be amazed if Claret members with 6 games didn’t qualify, good luck though.

Ticket info released on the OS. Though it won't load the page for me.

Thought they may bring in an attendance layer within Claret members, but that will be a bit of a bun fight.

If we've 8k claret members it'll be a bit of a bun fight. I thought you'd need games as well.

Not sure of the need to split the season ticket holders over 2 dates when we've only got 30k of them.  Just makes is a pain in the arse for anybody hoping to book groups.

Seems a bit odd (unfair) that Claret members with zero games get the same treatment as those with a ticketing history.

Assuming they exist.

Not as stringent as I thought it would be but then it’s not that long until the final.

It's a nice little nod to those that kept up their season ticket through the dark times. And that's from someone that's now got to wait thanks to his Johnny-come-lately nephew.

The ticket prices are astronomical- can see alot of people being put off paying those prices to see us likely get whopped by city in their minds

Agreed. No idea why they've done that.
