I’m not sure VAR looked at the right reply. On TV we only saw the Konsa block immediately beforehand. About 10 mins later they showed Nakamba’s which if that was us and hadn’t been given I’d have been mightily pissed off. Thought is was a stonewaller.

My Senior Partner is a Leicester fan. He was asking me yesterday if I was looking forward to seeing us get thrashed. He has not surfaced yet today...

Beautiful.

Due to have an operation on my knee in the next couple of weeks - can't drive for 8 weeks, but I will crawl to wembley if I have too

Fantastic night, that I will never forget.

I hope that you all get the tickets for the final. which in my opinion should be re-named the RON SAUNDERS DAY!

I think, if deliberate, you often got a rigid arm which doesn’t move when the ball hits it.
When accidental and in a natural position, the loose arm often jerks back, making it look worse, especially in slow motion replays or image stills.

I think it would have been harsh, and not in whatever spirit of the game we have left, but I played centre half so tend to side with the defending team.

What a pleasure this morning, reading the match thread. Also, the SHA match thread (yes really!) is hilarious. Every post is simmering hatred. Marvelous.

Most has already been said about the game and the players individually but I also want to highlight a few things.

A good too many times this season we have been found wanting on both fitness and concentration in the final quarter of a game and have lost way too many points in this period when teams have overran us. As the season has progressed we have obviously worked on this and we have started to be the stronger team in both fitness but mental strength as well culminating in the recent winners in extra time.
This is down to coaching and the management team needs to be thanked for this especially teaching them game management which was clearly evident last night.

There is also a thing that money cannot buy and that is spirit and togetherness and we have it in bundles - there are no billy big bollocks and no player seems to only be concerned for himself - it is all about the team.

Samatta - looked promising and although he missed 2 sitters he excited me that he got into those positions - I really think with a bit more sharpness he will score goals for us and be a new hero.

Invariably the radio wankers were suggesting that Grealish would be better off at United  / City et al - if we keep improving and start buying some real quality over the coming seasons he has no reason why he cannot fulfil anything he wants with Villa.

Finally - a huge shout for Deano - he will know how we all feel today, as he feels it too, how proud his Father would be to know he is taking his beloved Villa back to Wembley in his first season.
The records will show that we have beaten Brighton / Liverpool / Wolves and now Leicester en route to the final - I don't care if we played their collective dinner ladies we beat them all

Last night is exactly what being a football fan is all about - and we are lucky that we have experienced that quite a few times over the years

Please don't post a link. Just go to their forum and look if you feel the need.

Took a look at a Leicester forum. If you think the vitriol on here after defeat is bad then trust me, we have nothing on them.

Schmeichel is embarrassing trying to command a defence.
Maddison is a twat.
The midfield is shite.
They're all show ponies.

Remind ourselves, if we are ever in the top 3 a couple of years after winning the league and find ourselves in a cup semi final not to be as spoilt and derogatory as those clowns.

Fuck Leicester.
