I'm gonna push our luck here. Assuming City finish off United tomorrow and go on to qualify for the Champions League, are we in the Europa whatever happens at Wembley or doesn't it work like that. If it doesn't, it ought to lol.

No, losers no longer qualify.

They never did, did they?

I think that possibly before Sky invented football, they did. Of course, my memory might be playing tricks on me.

What a night and some great performances. Nyland, Konsa and Nakamba were excellent tonight, as was targett going forward.
The Hotel is booked so we just need to go and enjoy the weekend. Wembley Wembley were the famous Aston Villa and we’re going to Wembley.

That was a superb semi final.

No quarter given, boots flying all over the place. Heads being put in where they're clearly going to get hurt. Keepers were amazing.

It was bloody magnificent!

What an awesome night!

We more than held our own in the first half, but rode our luck at times and they came into it more in the second...however we had some outstanding performances (Nyland, Targett, Marv and Jack to mention a few) all over the pitch, and was looking like Leicester were more likely to get a second...which made it all the sweeter to get our much deserved last gasp winner at the end.

Haven’t been to as many games as I would liked to so far this season, so hope I have enough to get Wembley tickets...I’ll be making my way down there with or without a ticket.

edit: random observation...how many pairs of glow in the dark orange boots were out on the pitch tonight?! Has a new football boot been released or were they expecting severe fog?!

Can't believe I've not gone to the last 2 games and we've won both so late !

7th Wembley game in last 10 years coming up, must be up there with the likes of Man City and Arsenal over that period ?

And I'm not counting bloody Spurs......

I’ve broken my dry January tonight. Of course I’ve broken my dry January after that. I just love the Villa.

How have the fa decided Konsa not banned.... reviewing he was right and mike deans decision wrong so rescinded or was it Deano constantly moaning at 4th official ?

Wemberleyyyyy

Thought we rode our luck first half but we were superb second half. Pressed higher up the pitch and didn't give them as much time on the ball. We were far the better team second half and they did nothing really other than their goal. We didn't fluke that, we were the better team. We got our tactics spot on in both games and it's the most tactically impressive Smith has been imo. Play how we did tonight for the rest of the season and we'll finish about 14th.

Leicester fans were absolutely shocking. Burton made more noise than them. Obviously lost without their clappers

Thought Leics fans were very noisy during first part of first half.

Grealishs pass for Targetts goals was world class.

That one was good but in the second half he played a 1-2 with Targett where he kinda chipped the ball between 2 players and then ran through and got the shot away. That little chipped pass is one of the most arrogantly brilliant things I've ever seen him do, made it look like he was taking the piss with a bunch of kids in the park, against one of the best defences in the country. It's actually scary how good he can become, I don't think we're witnessing the blossoming of a very good Villa player, I think we're seeing the development of one of English footballs great talents. That's probably over the top but he really is that good and for the last couple of months he's been that good week in, week out.

Fuck yeah, all of that Paul. He's the fucking best.

Had a lot of mates in that away end. Alot of very quiet mates now. Though they were complimentary about us, Villa Park and the atmosphere. One said there was a lot of trouble after the game. Leicester have a lot of wannabe hardmen travelling away. Morons.

Up the Villa!

Tonight was everything I live for as a fan, whatever the outcome of the final is.

The team were magnificent to a man, to watch that side rise to the occaision when so often I've seen us wilt was a joy.

Up the fucking Villa.

I agree with LeeB.

Me too. What a post. Spot on.
