Just seen the winning goal because I had no recollection of it at the game.

The cross from Elmo is just incredible. Probably one of the best you’ll ever see.

I was questioning Smith's decision to replace Fred completely forgetting Elmo's secret weapon. Put it this way, if Beckham had put that ball in tonight, the media wouldn't stop talking about it.

Exactly! Me and a few fellas by me we’re being critical of taking Guilbert off, who had been largely excellent imo and then bringing Elmo on, but what a cross, unplayable.

What a night, large glass of red to try and come down. My sons being going down the villa since relegation season and actually said walking back to the car, ‘best night of my life’!! Thought all the players were outstanding and actually thought,,Targett, Nakamba and Luiz had their best games for villa. And Nyland...wow. Also thought, unlike Wes (not a dig, no negatives tonight) Samatta knows how to makes runs into the right areas.

Grealishs pass for Targetts goals was world class.

Just buzzing!!

Can I just point out...

3 Wembley trips in 3 years!
Living in Leicester,as Jack said,i'm over the moon.
The Leicester lad's where i work will be crying in their tea, lovely, and myself and a fellow Villa fan from Leicestershire will be whooping it up,their wankfest is over, well done Villa boy's.

I'm also exiled in Leicester. A few debts will be called in tomorrow :)

My kids are all at school in Leicester, going to wear my Villa hat and scarf when I drop them off tomorrow morning!

Alas I do that every day in the colder months :) I'm going for the 82 retro shirt under a v neck jumper that shows the collar. Most Leicester fans I know are decent but there's a few I'll be seeking out in the office tomorrow

An old saying. Tell me who you beat and that will tell you how  good you are.

Well I know we are good now.

A decade is just a period of ten years. It doesn’t have to start or end anywhere  specific. So the periods we call complete decades - 20s, 30s etc - are determined purely by what we agree them to be. Just like “rules” of grammar, they can change and shift and have different values for different people. They only have meaning if we agree that they do. So if you want to say the decade starts in a year 0 then that is absolutely correct. Year AD has nothing to do with it.

Christ, that was a cracking game.

My favourite decade was 1977-1996.

Fred looked like he’d picked up a knock when he came off.

Reminds me a bit of Pardew.  The sort that would have his hand up your wife’s skirt at the dinner table whilst smiling at you.

Rodgers broke up his family and another bloke's family by leaving his wife and kids and shacking up with the married woman and mother of one young daughter who handled Liverpool's travel arrangements.

Rogers looks like he's chewing a wasp.
Apparently he has got a picture of himself in his Living room. It must be to keep the kids away from the fireplace , Twonk.

Looks like a fox eating shit off a wire brush.

In some fairness to him ,that painting was a gift from a charity in Swansea after he'd helped them. He does seem a smug twat though, the kind that never passes a mirror without looking in it and licking himself.

Yeah , but he's a right ugly ****** .

So many similarities with the Liverpool semi. Rogers led a team who bottled it. Gerrard was outclassed by Grealish all those years ago - tonight it was the turn of  Maddison to be put in his place.

Just seen a stat - apparently we are first team to reach a major final in 14 different decades. The legend continues.
That's mental. Kudos to whoever researched that. (if it's true)

Tonight was everything I live for as a fan, whatever the outcome of the final is.

The team were magnificent to a man, to watch that side rise to the occaision when so often I've seen us wilt was a joy.

Up the fucking Villa.
