Thank god we have bottle.

Exactly. Finally we're showing some real fight. We may be clueless at times but you couldn't fault the effort 2nd half tonight. Tyrone sums it up here perfectly..

And Mings should have been sent off at 0-1, hhhahha fuck you Deeney and Foster.

That ugly, ugly face when he scored. Get back to the league below where you belong.

That's probably more photogenic than his passport photo. I'm not blessed with goods looks, but look like a model compared to ugly c*nt.
As my Father-in-Law  says anyone can be ugly , but that guy abuses the privilege .

Oh by the way did I  say Deeney is an UGLY C*NT
What is Iain Dowie up to these days ?

Much the better team for the first half hour without really threatening, then their goal knocked us back. We lost concentration when Delefou switched sides.
Nakamba had his best game for a while.
Drinkwater was much improved.
El Ghazi some decent touches in an unfamiliar role.
Hause good defensively but let down by poor distribution.
Reina commanding in the air without really being tested although there was a scramble in the second half. He seems to radiate confidence.
Jack quiet by his standards but still appeared the most likely .
Vassilev did well when he came on.
Nothing like a last minute winner and hugging random strangers.

Well you can’t beat a last minute winner. I thought we bossed the first half but it was either a poor final ball in or a good ball in and no striker to put it in. Ours heads went after the goal and the Luiz comes on and changes the game. I thought Nakamba was excellent and Reina really controls they game from the back, some of his distribution was excellent. Well done boys.

I'm shocked that VAR didn't cancel Villa's equaliser as El Ghazi was lying on the floor when Luiz planted the ball into the roof of the net!! Fucking VAR shite.

I think El Ghazi deserves credit for staying down and being passive as if he had tried to get up he may have been judged to have impeded the keeper’s vision / interfered with play / become active, whatever those eejits in control of VAR had needed to get their bonus for the night.

Smart play methinks.

The problem with this team isn't talent. There is talent there.
It's character.
And against Watford the villa players matched the coaches character.
Tonight the players showed how to win a football match
Because they showed the character to win
Dean Smith has always had the belief in this team
He is of good character

Well a grand old ending, I don’t think I’ve ever celebrated a goal sober the way I did that one, my daughter said it was the best game she’d ever seen. ‘Better than Wembley?’ yeah

The good, we battled, won our individual battles and Nakamba, Jack, ElGhazi were at full effort. Sub lad impressed me as well.

Negatives - And I’ll point this out as we won. We were soooooooo fuckkkkking sssssssllllllooooooowwwwww, players and particularly the management, they came for a draw and were the most cynical side I’ve ever seen, we had to take it to them and didn’t for most of the game. Said before that if we are playing three central defenders then one of them has to step into midfield in possession, we didn’t, and also had two deep lying central midfielders and the fulll backs didn’t get forward enough to pin them back.

Drinkwater impressed me a bit, he’s obviously well off the pace but he looks a leader from his interaction with the others. Not so good with the ball.

El Ghazi grew as the game progressed, Jack was Jack

I think you have a point there, Skillz.
