Expected Drinkwater to be starting, can't judge him on last Sunday and he needs the game time.

Thats what id have gone for, other than Luiz for Drinkwater
Drinkwater needs game time. Bit would have gone Luiz instead of Nakamba.

Midfield will have to step up their game. Could be an absolute horror show, or maybe they'll surprise us all. Need to get to grips with Mooy.

I think Nakamba benefits by not playing last week. Luiz was a disgrace so can't have any complaints about being dropped. Thought Chester might have come in for Konsa but that aside the team is along expected lines. Wing backs hopefully will have licence to get forward.

that side is ok for me

but more importantly if we don’t go out to win games rather than be defensive we will be going down

There needs to be a big shift in mentality

I expect a routine 2-0 win for the home side.  Go on Villa, shock me.

Targett's first game for us at wing back. Have a sneaking suspicion him and Guilbert will have good games today.

It does suit their style better.

I assume Engels is injured
He’s fit but there is only so many defenders Dean can play.

It's the 11 I'd have gone with. With Guilbert and Targett back in, we've a better shape. Need the midfield two to engage unlike last week, and the front three to work their nards off, but run smarter, not necessarily harder.

Let's have these, make my decision over whether to travel down and back from York on Tuesday night a straightforward one.

Yes but it's not just a case of 'Don't worry Danny, play yourself in, get up to speed, you've got loads of time'; we're in desperate need of wins and he has to contribute to that as well as getting match fit.

We needed signings that could hit the ground running, given our position. But I accept he needs to be playing to get to anywhere near that level of fitness.
