Looking forward to seeing him play.
His enthusiasm is only going to be a positive force on the side.

Also, apparently Richard O'Kelly and John Terry don't like coriander.

My mates lad has started working for the club. I asked him for some inside information and he said he’d ask and let me know. I had a text a few days later ‘The really famous one who helps the manager, he doesn’t like spicy food’

He’s not w big football fan.

No fear of a "Terry Delhi Belly" then

The club should really try to make the most of this. Have a wee pre-season tour of East Africa, force our way in to the collective subconscious of half a continent, come back with photos of Villa playing friendlies in front of 60,000 Villa-mad Tanzanians, at their national stadium. It'd look crazy-good - "the claret & blue continent" :)
If a load of Villa fans went along we could call it the 'Grumble in the Jungle'.

We need to develop the links with SC Villa in Uganda next door too.
I did suggest some project work a few years back but then the Villa in the community stuff was limited to UK only.
I’m meeting their general manager at a match next month if I have my way on our trip itinerary - anyone got any Villa in the community links? (I know supporter Liasoon Lee Preece will pass on but just in case any more ITK)

Over 10 years ago we sent over 100 H&V donated old Villa shirts out to Tanzania.  There’s the seed right there.

My younger son regularly takes suitcases full of donated Villa shirts to Havana.  Nothing come though the Cuban connection yet.  Perhaps we should start a Villa Boxing Club.  Or baseball.

Aha! Thanks to the generosity of the parishioners here I took out about 30 odd to Uganda in 2008 . There was a televised - well we paid to get it onto the news - game at the National Mental Health Hospital resplendent in a wondrous mix of Villa all ages Home Vs Villa all ages away, with a heck of a lot of Taylors on the pitch.
My trip next month is a big family one but another work one and I'd be tempted to do it again. Also fantasising of a SCV/AVFC link up, The Emperor has struck me as someone you could imagine supporting positive mental health promotion through footy stuff.

Deano stated that he’s available for Tuesday so whilst not confirmation, it’s the next best thing.

my lad tells me he’s alright because he’s got a 83 finishing rating on Fifa which is all that matters to him when evaluating players
