Travelling to Brighton?
« on: January 15, 2020, 08:44:34 PM »
If so, remember that BHA pay some of your travelling costs.

If travelling by train you only need to buy a return ticket to Haywards Heath if travelling from London. The rest of the journey to Falmer (Amex Stadium) via Brighton or Lewes is paid for.
Note if changing at Brighton or Lewes, and you have time, there are plenty of pubs and cafes near the stations. (The train journey to the stadium only takes about 10 minutes)
The same applies if travelling from Worthing in the west and Eastbourne/Seaford from the east.

If travelling by car there are two free park and ride schemes. The best from London direction is Mill Road which lies to the west of A23/A27 flyover as entering the city. Park your car for free and take the free bus. The other P&R is at Brighton Racecourse, which is probably  easier to find by using satnav.

If you want further info on the above and more interesting and useful facts about Brighton and Hove, the city and club visit www.*advertising*.co.uk  Safe journey to those travelling.

Yes it's rubbish. Either a 2 hour plus stopping train from Victoria or change at Haywards Heath for a bus!

I'm travelling from London Bridge, and it was cheaper to split the ticket at Three Bridges and pick up the stopping service from Victoria there.
