Deano clearly needs to be hard on the players after every game and I think we will be all right for the rest of the season?

I was in A&E having intravenous antibiotics being pumped into me when the game was on (!), so I decided not to check the scores until I came out (as there’s  only so much stress & misery I could handle). You can imagine my joy on seeing the result after such a shite start to 2020! Well done to Dean & the boys for finally pulling it out the bag after such a dreadful run of performances (& consequential results). Let’s hope this marks the start of a far more positive period for our magnificent club. Let’s be ‘avin you! 👍

Get well soon mate.  A win always lifts the spirits.

Anyone who says Wes is worst Villa striker really is just so mistaken.

Crouch scored 6 goals in 37 games in 2.5 seasons. I think Wes has 6 already.
Baros 9 in 37 in 2.5 seasons.

How long did it take JPA to score consistently?

Balaban
Kozak (alebit unlucky)

That is without starting on the cheaper options we acquired over the years. Lillis, Bowery etc..

Forgot about Kozak. Just looked at his stats and he hasn’t played that much since leaving us although 19 appearances this season for Sparta Prague. V Unlucky with his leg break.

We don’t have much luck with injuries and strikers. Benteke and Bent also sustained serious injuries when with us and they never seemed the same thereafter. Let’s hope Wes makes a full recovery

Thanks Dave, much appreciated.  ;)

I was unfortunately badly bitten on the hand by my cat (Balders) - whilst attempting to put her into her carrying-basket - during my move to a new flat on the 31st! My entire arm was horribly swollen by the morning, so an early-doors trip to A&E was the only course of action. You can imagine the human carnage that was flooding into the place after the madness of NYE!! :o

On a more positive tip, my moggy isn't usually quite so vicious (!), but I reckon she could do a job in our midfield: what with SJM being out for months. Every cloud...  :D

He was grabbed by the pussy.

I'm a she, so it was more applicable - and indeed technically possible - than you thought!  :D

Horrible tackle and injury for Wes.

This after his most impressive game of the season -scored one, could have had another, worked hard down the sides, and made a good long pass to help set up the second goal.
