I can think of one.

Mazrim?

Nope, not going to name them but it's been said on here before.

I find it weird, we all dish out criticism, only a few stop posting and disappear during good stuff though.

That specific person, along with another who I don't believe came back to have a whinge this time round but has some odd views about small-eared centre forwards, are the sort of people I was thinking of, not the likes of Risso and others who were calling for Smith to go but have, in my view, been fair and given him credit for the positives and I don't think would be against holding their hands up and admitting they were wrong if the current form carries on for a while.

I don't dismiss that at all and ending that first season under Taylor back in the first division was beyond all realistic expectations after the manner of the relegation.  However, Wembley finals - especially winning ones - colour judgements.

Risso starts the [insert manager's name] Out threads, it's just the way of the universe.

I was responding to Dave and Richard's posts on the last page.

Yep, if he was going to go then it would have been straight after that game. Canít see the point of getting rid at this stage.

Agree.  Should have gone after the Watford game.  Too late now.

Had he have gone after Watford, we may have brought in a much better Manager than we will if he goes tomorrow.  Too late now, but that should NOT stop the club from doing the right thing.  Perhaps take Pitarch with him.

We actually picked up 7 points from our next 4 games and he at least changed the formation straight after that game which gave us a short term boost.

We just look finished at this level now. Ultimately we simply couldn't lose that Spurs game and to do it in the 94th minute added to the anguish. Whatever the players say that game has done them mentally especially defensively.

Thank you for last season. Total respect for that. You are clearly out of your depth at the top level.

This thread wouldn't even exist if Villa stay up. Seems to have resurfaced because we lost.
Complete over reaction
If villa win against Chelsea the thread gets buried again however a poor defeat against the 3rd best team in the league and people are screaming for his head.
Another thing if Villa had won tonight  this thread wouldn't be seen !
Ridiculous lack of support .
I don't think JT caretaker manager for the last 10 is the answer!
Smith IN for me
Season end.

Lot of "ifs" in there.
