Reasons to be cheerful ....... We’ve been pants for two months, yet aren’t cut adrift at the bottom, in fact we’re one win from safety. This group of players held their own and played good football earlier in the season so the underlying ability is there. After Burnley we’ve got nearly two weeks of respite before league action restarts so plenty of time to bed in our three transfer window loans/ signings, as each week passes SJM will be a weak closer to coming back fully fit how he started the season. Happy New Year Villains !

There’s no VAR and we’d enjoy our weekends again

The positives are,
1. The championship was quite enjoyable.
2. We can relish the fact we have jack for another 5 months.

Oh, maybe point 1 won’t apply next time once point 2 expires.

Bugger.

There are so many clubs that are in danger of going down this year so we’ll get plenty of chances to sort this out.
We’ve reached the last 4 of one of the domestic cup competitions.
Our business in January can only improve us?

It'll be easier to buy a ticket again. Did loads of Championship games but only managed one this season!

One positive- presently at least - is that so far, factions of our powder-fuelled younger away following haven’t started fighting each other in the stands...yet

The transfer window opens in 2 days. We can be proactive and replace a dead duck manager and get in 2 or 3 to plug the gaps from the shite recruitment.

We will improve with two or three signings in January and I'm confident we will be stay up.
