It's obvious we've come for a 0-0 here.

I’d take that

So would I. Would keep us out of bottom 3 ahead of the two massive home games.
At some point we are going to have start winning at places where we're not expected to.

Norwich winning at Leicester is a classic example of this, and why I think we're currently looking in real trouble.

Leicester 1-1 now.

Dean will be on thin ice If we don’t win against Southampton and Norwich.

The only thin ice he’ll be on will be as he steps out on the Bodymoor training pitch early on a late December morning, and rightly so.

Oooh who took the jam outta your donut.

:-)

He’s got to have at least the season though surely. To be honest I think we’ll do well enough in the next few games to make it no issue anyway. I really don’t like promoted managers getting the boot the first season up unless they’re overseeing a season like our 15-16

Has Targett managed to pass to a villa shirt yet? So many miscued passes even when not under pressure!?

We are morphing into a hoof ball team.
How the fuck has that happened?
Might as well try it, as Wesley cant get on the end of anything, so hoof it up and cut out Wesley giving a foul

Get. Kodjia. On!

Hoof, hoof, hoof.

What happened to the fucking movement?

After 1-4 last week team is low on confidence so you do tend to knock more long balls to get out quicker when that happens.

Nice solid draw would be fine by me but we do need to get things going when we attack as Sheffield will have a decent spell at some stage.

El Ghazi has been awful so far.

Hasn't he just. My wife just turned to me and said 'you're not a fan, are you?' as I sighed for the tenth time this half.

We look a bit safety first today. Lansbury and Nakamba look so one paced. Grealish not involved, really.

Step it up, Villa.

I think we’ve done ok. Playing one of the form sides in the league and we’ve shut out everything they’ve thrown at us. Heaton hasn’t had a save to make.  Just need a bit more spark in the midfield

To be fair we have kept them pretty quiet so far

Our two centre halves have been excellent and Nakamba is doing a good job in front of them.

Wesley really is a massive waste of space.

He contributes so little.

This game isn’t very inspirational is it. Two Championship sides.

No corners for Sheffield so far.

That's good news considering we've been sloppy defending them in last few games.
