Balls. Shouldn’t be getting turned over at home by that rabble. No sign of improvement.... we’re sleepwalking back to the championship.
Needs his bus fare home now - no time for sentiment.

Kodjia in a cameo has looked 10 times the player Wesley has looked

He's highlighted Smith's incompetence. Imagine a player who had a great game in the week and scored two goals being more use than a non scoring, confidence lacking player. Crazy.

Devils Advocate, Wes also scored in that match, which might have boosted his confidence. However to start Conor because he scored and not Kodj definitely highlights Smiths obvious issues with him or infatuation with Wes for some stupid reason.

Wesley for me has tk be one of the worat strikers we have ever signed. 22m and he cant score cant pass cant header cant control the ball. What the actual fuck. Who concluded he would be a) good enough to keep us b) no other striker to compete against him?

Skmeone has to be held accounable for this mess

Wes scored when those kids were down and out.

We're not going to do a Fulham - we are going to do 2015/16 all over again.

Don’t disagree with that. I could see the logic in behind putting Wesley in again after his goal, but their respective performances today showed how wrong that was, and smith sees a lot more of these players than us.

A goal is a goal. Kodj was also playing against the same kids. I'm in the agreement that Kodj should have started as per the beginning of the thread, just pointing out that to pick up on two goals against a team that the "non scorer" did score against is slightly a wrong argument. Conor did score against them as well when they weren't down and out and he was as useful as a chocolate fireguard today.

TBH, I would either play them both or Kodj with Jack just behind him next match and then try a proper four in midfield to help the rest of the team out.

Kodjia did ok but it helped he has Wesley there to occupy the defenders , where as Wes is constantly left alone battling alone.I'm not saying Wes has been great but the MF offer him little support and today the CBS hit aimless balls to him ...one of which caused the first goal

Highlight of the afternoon was buying H&V off Percy. We are in  deep shit.  Same performance as Sheff Utd. Completely unacceptable. It was Jack against 11 in the second half.

Two more points between now and the end of the season would definitely be a massive change around. Although where O'Neill always had a shit end of season, Smith seems to have a shit Winter going into the new year for us.

I really want Dean to get this right, nothing to do with him being a Villa fan, however the last few weeks have been very disappointing. Need a win from somewhere, today should have been it.
