''Would you bet against us''

A hard-fought 1-0 to the Villa.

Minute's applause before the game, personally i'd have preferred a minute's silence.

Agreed.

I would too. Proper respect. Why is it not possible?

Because applause is a lot easier.

It must be a modern phenomenon, perhaps I'm just old.

Sums up the world we live in, today. Too many people can’t stand in silence for sixty seconds and think about the person involved. The club opt for applause because they don’t want the embarrassment of the silence not being properly observed.

Sir Ron deserves the applause, he certainly earned It.  Why not appreciate him like that rather than silence

I can fully understand people wanting silence but I think a rousing round of applause for everything he did for our club is very fitting. I will be thinking of him throughout the game.
I really hope we win for him but it will be tough.

Silence for the same reason I remove my hat when a hearse passes, for reflection, for respect. However it's not the time nor the place to debate one or the other.

They are a very good side at the moment and look like the only side that come near to challenging Liverpool, and fair fucks to them, no probs with Leicester at all.....Rodgers on the other hand, smarmy, white toothed David Brent Git 😬

Bearing in mind with some how scrapped a draw at home to them as we were heading down with a shit team and they were heading towards the league title....so strange things can happen.

They should win tomorrow, but I have a feeling this could be a classic and possible season defining win for villa, 3-2, AEG, Jack, Luiz

A bit harsh - i mean, my teeth would be white if I could afford the dental care!

Yes indeed I have white teeth envy, in this age of austerity, one short man flashing his white teeth around whilst the rest of us suffer years of sugar, caffeine and nicotine staining, is just not on 😬 UTV for Ron

It will be interesting to see how the TV coverage of this match weighs Villa's  "Ron Saunders RIP" vs the usual "Leicester Are Owned By An Asian Conglomerate and sell lots of shirts and promote the EPL to plastic supporters Wankfest"

Did I mention that I hate these ******?

Their league title "victory" a few years ago was a greater indication of sport being fixed than anything the NFL has ever rolled out. Pete Rozelle's ghost even woke up and said, "Wow, they fixed that shit better than we ever did."
