Dean and JT better be throwing water coolers in that locker room.

Need to see more of SJM 2nd half

It’s evidence of our brainlessness that we haven’t got him into the game.

Games this must make him scratch his head about why he’s wasting his time with the likes of AEG.

Play like that in the second half and it could be embarrassing.

They are far better than we are.

He's done this best. Tried to get forward but like everyone else needs Grealish for it all to click. He can't do it all on his own. I actually think Nakamba has been the best of a very average lot, made some good interceptions although way it's gone he'll probably get himself sent off in second.

Desperately poor. They need to come out and play with some fire and pride. They don’t even look like they’re trying.

Smith has to use the one sub left and shore up the midfield.
Lansbury for Al Ghazi and go 4 4 1 some hope

Have we already had a player sent off then?

441?
It’s like playing with 10 men

Yes at least Nakamba has tried.

Nobody's played well. Luiz is a huge disappointment so far too given the reputation he arrived with. I can't work out what sort of midfielder he is. Nakamba is having is worst game for us, Konsa and Mings were reasonable until the latter decided to clean out Traore.

The full backs were atrocious but also completely outnumbered and constantly had players with 30 yards of room running at them. That is really difficult to defend against. I feel like Targett gave up in the end. The coaching team must know how Wolves play, yet we have ourselves up to encourage all their strengths.

El Ghazi isn't shit but he is horribly inconsistent. Today is one of his bad days. Trez improved a bit. Poor Wesley stands no chance. McGinn never in it.

Lumping crosses in from halfway inside their half seems our only attacking ploy too. I can't see anything other than a very comfortable win for the Dogheads second half. Naff.

How Wesley is a full Brazil international is one of life’s great mysteries

Wes hasn't been great but he's feeding off scraps. What have Trezeguet and El Ghazi contributed. They can't even be bothered to carry out their defensive jobs. Dean Smith has really got a job on his hands here.

Nakamba Wesley and SJM probably the only players with any credit whatsoever.

This team is just as bad as Southampton, Watford and Norwich. Players like El Ghazi will be the reason why we're not far from the bottom 3 all season.

We're better than Norwich. Think the game a few weeks ago showed that.

Xmas period is going to be massive, probably season shaping. Just need to hang onto in there and try to pick up the odd win before that period.

Having Engels, Grealish and Heaton back for Newcastle would help massively.

Our midfield three are too far away from each other because of the system that Wolves play.  We are more concerned about them than we are about imposing our own game on them.  Unforced errors, giving the ball away.  I'm not sure I've seen a worse half from Villa this season. We can't get any worse.
