Have we been on the right side of any VAR decisions this season?

None.

A lot of nervousness in the team today.
Heaton, Mings and Engels poor. McGinn seems out of position, and Wesley has just had his standard, petulant, effortless performance.

Positives - Guilbert has fared well against arguably the best winger in Europe, and Trezeguet hasn’t let the team down today.

It's no disgrace to losing to Man City, but we've brought most of it on ourselves through mistakes and being a bit timid when we have the ball.
Agreed that and the offside goal.

Th massively frustrating thing is to give away their first goal to a speculative punt up field. Mings hugely at fault for getting beat in the air by a player a foot shorter.

Unusually poor first touch by Jack. What are they chanting at him - you're just a shit....?

Ah, because all of these Man City players were beating down the door to sign for them before the sheikh oil win.

We've conceded 9 goals so far against the 'big 6', all scored in the second half.

Problem is at 1-0 you still have a chance, go 2 down to the likes of Man City and it must seem like you've got Everest to climb to get back and of course a crazy decision to boot.

Just seen replay of the goal - surely Sterling is offside and in Heaton's line of view? Straws and clutching I know
He was offside if not from the first touch then from the second.

The midfield shape just doesn't work after 60 minutes in these types of games.

Given Citeh's overall quality, this was a shot to nothing.9

But it's a real pisser to concede so easily after ht through a missed header and then get nothing from VAR for their 2nd.

Need to keep it at 3-0 (or better), learn our lessons from the performance - individually and collectively and move on to the next game.
