I thought the ref was poor. He allowed the familiar three strikes against Grealish -cleverly delivered by three different opponents but couldn't wait to show a card to Conor who hadn't even committed a foul.

Arguably, he should also have sent off the full-back who kicked Jack to the ground in the second half, Jack springing back up to supply a pass that McGinn skied wildly. The foul was clearly a foul with the ball nowhere near, so he should have gone, playing-on or not.

At least we can't blame him for the crap VAR decisions -step forward Martin Atkinson. Those who were at the Bournemouth game may not have been surprised...
