Hell of a finish to the bears innings tonight, 57 partnership between Mo and Barnard from 20 deliveries.

Set Notts 207 to chase.

A couple of really poor overs in the middle cost us and I'm not sure trying to bowl yorkers in the last over was the right call.

I think if you're defending single figures you've got to risk it but with them needing sixteen off the last over we could have been more conservative.

Hassan Ali cost us that game, his first 3 overs went for 47.

It was all a bit flat there today, I saw both games and the bat dominated but the crowd was strangely subdued.

As if there weren't enough reasons to dislike Yorkshire, they're blasting out Robbie fucking Williams. COYB, into these twats.

And the crowd sang along!

Not me obvs.

Pears currently 79/5 in the first innings against Bears in the blast. 5th wicket is a Davies catch from Lintott that is one of the best keeper catches I've ever seen but it did bounce off his middle wicket as he took it.

I’d say neither side will be anywhere near finals days

Can’t understand how Hain isn’t in that England white ball squad all the time…head and shoulders best batsman out there

Can’t get vexed about the Worcs batting order anymore…17yr old Mohammed has improved it, Libby is a quality red ball player but is no t20 player.

Bears made a meal of that run chase.  Thought they were superb in the field tonight and 135 looked a very gettable total.  Good start, but then just kept losing wickets and it nearly cost them.

Nice to see the annual gathering of Villa obsessives have their moment in the sun again, only for them to realise after a subsequent rendition of "Holte Enders in the Sky" that they were equally matched or even outnumbered by Villa fans and it wasn't heard again.

Worcs just got awarded 5 penalty runs for Santners reaction to being out…looked like he hit the ball to be given out lbw and he stood and waved the bat at the umpire.

Not seen that often

Penalty is instantly 4th on our championship batting averages this season :-)

and a 2nd now, and with you scoring so quickly all 5 is well on the cards.

Bears are ticking along but going a little slow and with quite a long tail, have the first batting point but hopefully we can get another one today and then push on tomorrow morning.

I'm pleased for Hosey. When he was playing for me in Ventnor CC 2nd XI when he was about 14, I never thought he would ever play for the club's 1st XI never mind becoming a professional. He was a royal pain in the arse. He's done it the hard way, so fair play to him. His dad's all over it on social media, bless him.

Bears have put a bit of a rush on and got the 2nd batting point.

Worcester get their 3rd and Hose has a double ton, congratulations to him, that's a great effort. Libby has his century at the other end.
