I was on the train from Hereford to New St today, arriving in Worcester about 6.25pm. Overheard three groups discussing the cricket. Just wondering, might be one of you good folks.

About that time yesterday in Worcester was about time play was abandoned for the day, we’re they bemoaning the abject display & mauling Worcs are getting from Derby :-)?

Living in Scotland, I've not heard anyone mention the Ashes yet (just as well given I'm generally catching up having recorded it).

Was impressed by Roderick and Pollock today. Not the players I'd have expected to bat out a draw.

From what I could gather, yeah.

Bears have signed Dominic Drakes for the rest of the Blast, including the quarters onwards. He’s replacing Hasan Ali

Is he related in any way to Vasbert Drakes, who played for the Bears many years ago?

He is indeed Vasbert's son.

Wow...what an over at the start of Bears response. They lose 4 wickets to Afridi.

Ouch. Time for Maxwell to earn his salary.

Looks like Olly Stone broke down after 3 balls, Lyndon James completed his over. Another brittle England bowler, thankfully he’s not our brittle  England bowler any more.

Regardless of tonight’s result - and we are still in with a chance - results elsewhere mean that a home QF is confirmed

That's a hell of a recovery by the Bears to win.

Fantastic win for the Bears, pity the Sky cameras were at Old Trafford showing no cricket for a game that no-one outside of Lancashire or Yorkshire is interested in yet they show both Roses games every year. Must be the creeping Manchester influence.
