It's a pity Mr Rhodes isnt
Glos 32-6…chance Worcs will be batting by lunch on day one at this rate

It's a pity that Mr Rhodes isn't around anymore, he could report his own pitch. Oh the irony!

It doesn’t look like the pitch…though there is always a bit of moisture after the winter :-)…abject batting, certainly seems bad call (so far) to win the toss and bat when it’s the first game on it of the season

15 wickets in a day can’t all be down to poor shot selection

Tom Price of Glos has got a century and a hat trick on the same day.

Becomes the first player in first class history to do that.

Fortunately, for Worcestershire, the rain came and rescued us.

We look like we have a half decent side but they need to click at the same time.  I'm getting a bit fed up with Azhar Ali.

Put in by Surrey in let's say trying conditions.
Bears currently 41.3 21.3 overs
The 3 wkts to fall all taken behind wicket, 2 x slips to Pope and Steel and one to keeper, Foakes.
Roach with 2 and Worrall with the other.

The conditions look terrible for batting so we just need to hang on as best we can and hope to post something we can try to defend.
