I know that batting is a bit tricky at this time of year, but Glos already look a bit ropey

The Bears are giving it a go on day four at Taunton. Managed a lead of 108 on Somerset who are 2-2 in their second innings just after lunch. COYB

Nice start for Worcs - promising start for Waite, wasn’t expecting a batting all rounder :-) and good to see Libby & Azhar Ali getting going earlier than last year

Although a week late & as usual we've already lost once this season, but big up Derbyshire for this season.  The Guardian are tipping them to come 1st, the poor misguided fools.

A good day for the Bears against Kent, 367-3 on day one with centuries for Yates and Hain. Considering the weather that’s an excellent score.

Watched a fair amount of the Bears innings. Sam Hain really could have a monster season. His ability has always been far better than someone averaging high 30s in FC cricket.

Worcestershire being positive against Durham with a declaration.  Brilliant knock from Jack Haynes 130 odd not out.  Looks a real talent.  Unlikely victory with only a day to go but good performance so far from the Pears.

Fantastic day so far for the Bears, smashed our way to 453/4 and got Kent 9 down pretty quickly. Annoyingly the last pair put up a bit of resistance but all done for 158 leaving us with a 295 lead so surely they'll be following on and we'll be hoping we don't bat again.

12 overs left for the day so could get a couple more yet.

Not a good last day….3-2 is always a tough score to start 4th innings….was the innings needed Pollock to turn up for a change, don’t get why he got a new contract, walking wicket 90% of the time

Well done to the Bears! A close shave at the end in fading light, but they got the job done!

If they don't have too many injury problems, they look set for a decent season in all competitions.
