Don’t want to be unduly negative but I think we might be in a bit of trouble here.

What a fight back by Glos to defeat Sussex. Looked to be dead and buried

According to The Cricketers you guys are looking to sign Moeen, Saqib Mahmood & Ed Barnard for next year.

Barnard in particular would be a huge huge loss to us, plays every game red & white ball, increasingly looking like he’ll become number 5/6 batting all rounder who is a decent medium pacer.

Mo was always going to end up back at Edgbaston given as he is local & probs feels he has unfinished business.  Red ball pre & early England Mo has been amazing for us, white ball likewise with a couple of trophies but his appearances have become rarer and rarer.  If you can get him & offer him a contract that keeps him away from IPL he will be a huge asset for 2/3 years….Worcester were always going to struggle to pay him enough once his central contract decreased, if he slips off England white ball radar then definitely could not afford.

Something is definitely not right at Worcester, 100% need a change of coach in winter but seems there is a mindset change at executive level that is equally important else Barnard, Haynes, Libby & Pennington will be the next ones down the road.

Nabbed a freebie for the Glos v Hants T20 in a couple of weeks.

I've been to a few days of County Championship matches, but this will be my first T20

It’s actually two tickets. If any H&V’er would like the other, let me know.

It’s a pdf ticket and unallocated seating, so you wouldn’t even have to sit next to me. :)

Glos v Hants, Fri 24 June, 18:30 start
