I don't know exactly what it is but it looks like Broad is wearing a police ankle tag.

Sibley was off the field with a finger injury, sent for an x-ray.

Bears have got on to 201/8 but with Sibley unlikely to bat there's only 1 wicket left in the bag.

That leads to me no really understanding why there isn't an option to replace a player in a situation like this. If he has, as seems likely, broken a finger not being able to replace him in the batting line up is a huge disadvantage and encourages people to bat when it's not suitable or safe for them to do so in an effort to save the game.

A batting Captain for the Bears. With Malan not joining for a few weeks and now Sibley out it's a poor start to the season. Once again, the bowlers got early wickets as they did against Derbyshire, but lost any advantage by leaking too many runs to lower order batsmen. Why are Mousley and Brookes not playing?

A great morning for Bears , through to lunch at 167/3 65
Hain 55*
Lamb 40*
A ferocious battle ensuing between Hain & Broad, reminiscent of the famour Atherton/ Donald battle many moons ago. Possibly wuickest i've seen him bowl
for a while. Hain struck twice in the middle of his back and a fierce blow to the helmet which ended up as 4 leg byes.
Could be a thrilling couple of sessions ahead with Bears requiring a further 166 to claim a great victory.
