160/5 now so still every chance of finishing this off without having to bat again with them still 67 short. I can't see this even going to stumps this evening.

Well still no more wickets and they trail by 5, fair to say we Will have to bat again.

Northants, somewhat annoyingly, making a game of it. Lead less than 100, two wickets down. Wouldn't really want to be chasing anything North of 150, no idea what the pitch will be like after months out of action.

Olly Stone ok? Only 3 overs so far?

Dunno mate.

Yep, whatever the reason we're missing Stone.

Stone injured again? Great bowler but too many games missed. Hopefully he's ok?

The Northants keeper-captain is a right fat knacker.

Ryan Sidebottom's chucking pies here.  Runs flowing for Northants.

Where's Jeets and Henry Brookes? Bowling attack without Stone as well looks a bit light?

I think Jeets is acting as England's spin coach for the Pakistan series.  Brookes wasn't in the squad for this match, he may have picked up an injury when he was with the ODI Training Group but I suspect he's being rested.

The Bears have let this slip so badly that realistically we're looking at a Northants declaration at some point.  Considering Stone is off the field, we haven't seen much of OHD or Bres this morning and consequently runs have been easy to come by.  The back up bowlers have looked unthreatening, especially Sidebottom who has gone for 109 off 21 wicketless overs.

Stone has a side injury, not serious according to the official site. Just a precaution. Nonetheless a worry with the lack of wickets since yesterday evening. I thought Jeets was playing this season? We're going to struggle without him. Where is Norwell? Another who missed most of last season through injury.

One wicket in 112 overs. Beyond pathetic.

Game dribbled slowly towards the draw.  By the end, having lost all interest, the Bears had Tim Bresnan bowling tweakers.
