All things accounted for this is a fantastic partnership between Hain and Benjamin to give the bears a respectable score from a difficult position. Given we've got Moeen adn Maxwell to add to this team I reckon we might have a good chance in the short formats this season.

Yeah, think they should definitely be set for a good T20 campaign with the squad they have.  Presuming the 50 over competition will be reduced to a development competition again, which is inexplicable considering there is a World Cup in that format this year.  Nevermind, as long as the ECB have another chance to give away tickets and lose money flogging the already dying horse that is The Hundred then all is well.

The 100 is doomed, no-one at the ECB has the balls to admit it though. Every new cricket competition in the world is a T20.

100 will be a women only thing before long and the mens version will turn into a 2nd t20 franchise.

Easy win by the Bears over Leicester Foxes in the T20 tonight. Sam Hain yet again proved the match winner. Ridiculous that he isn't considered good enough to play for England, especially when failures like  Crawley are continually selected.

4 wickets for Danny Briggs this afternoon as well. I've known Danny since he was 8 years old. Learnt his cricket as a nipper at Ventnor CC. He is a top, top bloke, still comes to visit the club any time he is down on the island and has done end of season presentations, Groundforce work on the ground before the season starts if commitments permit. Humble, grounded and approachable: everything a professional sportsman should be. Go Brigga!!

Worcester, always love beating Notts, even better to smash them. 4 from 4, wasn’t expecting that at start of Blast

Pears top of the table, despite playing a game fewer than the Bears

Absolutely brilliant performance and Josh Tongue taking wickets in the Test too.  Good day for the Pears.

Disappointing result at Edgbaston last night but nevertheless a very entertaining evening. It's just not fair when you need 60 odd from 4 overs and opposition bring on Shaheen Afridi to bowl. Football equivalent would be if you're 1-0 down against Man City and desperate for an equaliser and they bring on De Bruyne and Haaland.

Moeen coming in seems to have disrupted the Bears, the bowling and fielding has been 'off' in the last 2 games.
