As well as needing a shake up , this time there must be a genuine desire by players and nod from the gaffer to let them know that they CAN play themselves into Saturdays starting 11.

Next saturdays starting 11 should see a centre back dropped, a central midfielder dropped and start Keinan , they’re the best options we’ve got

Why would you drop Wesley?

It’s not like he’s been wasting clear cut chances all the time and he’s now at one goal in three Prem games, which is about average for a Prem striker ( 12 / 13 goals a season ).

He’s shown if we play the ball to him properly, he’ll convert.
Fed up seeing gesticulating arms being thrown around and fists banging the turf. It’s the premiership son, get up fight on with that claret and blue shirt on

Wesley can be rested for this one. Along with Jack, he's one of two players we absolutely can't risk getting injured. Assuming Targett, Chester and Kodjia still not fit I'd expect something like...

Steer

Elmo (c)
Konsa
Engels
Hause

Jota
Hourihane
Luiz
Lansbury
El Ghazi

Davis

I think we might have more strength in depth than Brighton. I expect them to rest most of their team and hope our backups can beat theirs.

I think if both teams put out their strongest line ups it would be a draw. If, as I suspect both teams rotate their squads I think our squad is stronger than theirs.

Can’t see anything other than wholesale changes given the Burnley fixture is looking increasingly important. It’ll probably only be one of Trez or El Ghazi that starts from yesterday’s team - likely Trezeguet given El Ghazi played the full ninety.

Imagine it will be - Steer; Elmo, Konsa, Hause, Targett; Luiz, Hourihane, Lansbury; Jota, Trezeguet, Davis.

I have no idea what the likely Brighton second team is like at all. Don’t think we will see too many goals though.

Come on Villa, get a win here to set us up nicely for the weekend. Even a nervy win on pens will do!

You'd think after starting so many of these that TV would know to add a poll, but no, I have to do it for the lazy bugger.

I’m taking a stand with the other proletariat. Make you upper crusts do your bit.

Here's hoping the whole game remains 11 vs 11.

I’d like a formation change to see what we can do with a different style of play.

Is he? I thought Dean Smith said before Arsenal that he was only doing non-contact training for a few weeks?

I don't know enough about Brighton to know whether that's their full strength of backup squad. I've heard of Murray, Mooy and Gross (dunno how to do the German letter).

Connolly is a young kid from Galway with a bit of potential. If he does play would be interested from those at the game how he does?
