Saints clearly in no mood to have the season end in disappointment, 40-0 against Gloucester at half time and could've had more, exceptional first half.

Ended 90-0

Incredible performance.

Not a huge amount between the sides in the final today, Leinster having more of the ball but Toulouse are handling everything they throw at them. 15 each in the 80 is probably a fair reflection in the end but, for me, Toulouse have a touch extra quality with Leinster relying heavily on being really aggressive at the breakdown.

Red card might have saved Leinster

Harsh red for me, should've been a yellow but probably doesn't make much difference.

I thought Leinster had the momentum after that VdF try, but clearly not. Seems reminiscent of the Ireland V New Zealand game at the World Cup, in that one team kicked points when given the opportunity, and one team didn't.

I just think Leinster were scared to play with any real ambition, just kept it tight and tried to do it half a yard at a time.

Healey on co-commentary was saying that Leinster had their backs running into the 'wrong' spaces and that they should have targeted some of Toulouse's weaker defenders.

I watched the whole game and didn't see too many 'weak' defenders!

They were scared of being isolated and getting turned over so they kept running back inside and whilst it meant they kept possession they just weren't going anywhere or offering any threat.

Premiership Final and Challenge Cup Final both kicking off at 3pm today, surely the sensible thing would have been to move one of them to tomorrow or move one ko time later today?

Don't normally watch club rugby but that was quite an exciting finish. Happy to see the Midland team win.

I didn't get to watch much of it but that was one of Northampton's worst performances this year, glad we held on.
