We are letting them have way too much of the ball and they are pushing us further and further back. And we are making the same daft individual errors that killed us vs Spurs and Bournemouth.

Well we are away and Palace have been in premier league for many years now....

Expecting us to dominate away and home team to barely cross the halfway line is a bit optimistic I think, didn't happen in the championship.

Get to half time at 0-0 and hopefully get some more fluency in our attack second half. Wesley is back to being a bit out of things today.

I don’t need us to dominate. It would be good if we could just keep the ball for a few minutes and push forward as a group.

We will have a spell second half I'm sure like majority of away games we've played in top flight in our history.

This was always going to be a tight one today.

Even WM commentary has noticed that Friend is biased against Villa.

There you go Friend - another yellow for us (probably deserved) but they get nothing for persistent fouling as well as stamping on Taylor's foot

McArthur needs to be crunched. He's like an extra from Deliverance.

We certainly need half time, Palace getting some dangerous crosses in.

Inevitably they have focused on attacking Taylor. Not a genius move by Hodgson to attack us down the weakest area of our team.

So, I take it the FA will see no issues with Kevin Friend's one way traffic..

Taylor needs to get tighter. A poor defender today. Wake up.

Gulibert booked now ffs, can see him sending one of ours off. Both FBs on yellows which isn't great with Zaha around.

they are getting too many opportunities, we really need to hold out until half time.
