I listen to an Italian podcast about English football. This week they were talking about who will possibly be the next generation of prolific England strikers, and the journo in question (a Gazzetta Dello Sport journalist based in the UK) mentioned Balogun (of Arsenal) and Archer.

Today is exactly the sort of game that Archer and AJ needed to go out and experience. Archer in particular needs to work out how he can have an impact on games like this where he's just not getting the ball.

Winning a penalty right at the start of the 2nd half shows he's learning.
