I don't think there's a Villa youngster I've wanted to succeed as much at the Villa ever!  With our strikers misfiring I'd have thrown in him to our first team personally, but if a good loan like this gets him scoring regularly then he's going to be right up there in SG's pecking order come the summer.

I feel exactly the same.

Kid's going to the top I think. Has that knack to be in right place in six yard box to score that we haven't really had from the forwards we've brought through in last 20 years.

Excellent loan for him and fully expect him to get regular minutes for us next season.

Yeah, that's what struck me from those highlights.  His goal maybe wasn't the most spectacular ever scored, but he knew to put himself where he could do the most damage - if the ball hit the woodwork, or the keeper saved the shot but couldn't hold the ball, or the other attacker was closed down and needed to pass - Cam was in exactly the place he needed to be.

He's just got that look about him, to me, of the sort of player that could score an absolute bucketload of goals.

I think I heard it during the commentary that his family were there last night.
If so were they in the Albion seats which must have been interesting when he scored!

Just as well as if they'd been in the home end they'd have been the only people in there with 10 minutes to go.

That must have been a very special moment then.
12 minutes into his Championship journey and he scores.
Amazing.

Could have been given as an OG as it went off the defender on the line but fair play to him for being in the right place.

They all count!

Is that the infamous Ched Evans? Can't believe he is still championship standard. Seemed to have a very lively first half based on that clip.

Archer, Chuk, Kessler & Aaron Ramsey.  How much are quality kids like that going to save us?  It's mouth watering.  Villa are in an excellent place right now.

That's really the owners plan too so we may see transfer funds used on fewer signings but bigger transfer fees and player profiles for the ones we do sign.

Give it a couple of years for the younger ones to break through and, IMO, there will be some more Coutinhos turning up at VP.  No need for run of the mill ones, just get the top ones in.

Thatís assuming they all make it. Iím convinced we have the right pathways to get them to the first team as ever itís down to hard work and a little bit of luck for them all to break through. Itís going to be fun watching them all develop.
