We all know Cam's gonna be a star, but I find it incredible just how much effort a club of the stature of PNE will put in to get someone on loan for a few months who's ultimately only played 6 times for the Villa! Fair play to them.

They still bang on about having had Beckham play for them! It's a good move for both sides.

I'm based in Preston. Exciting for Cameron and the Preston fans, I wish him all the best.

Legion, if he needs anything give me a shout.

Same here, live in Woodplumpton just outside Preston and the in laws are PNE fans. I want h them regularly so looking forwards to seeing him play up here.

Even now we are up in Lancashire Mr Amfy now goes to Villa with me more often than we go to PNE, having developed that habit whilst we were in Brum, but I have already got to Deepdale a couple of times this season and now there is more incentive to get there for a few more.

I make sure my two boys see more Villa than any other team. But do take them to watch PNE a few games a year and also FC Fylde. To be honest though once a kid goes to Villa Park there is no comparison, and no looking back!

He is buzzing about the opportunity as well.
I'm really pleased about this.  Hopefully he sees the bigger picture and realises he could have a massive future with Villa.

He most definitely does. It is Villa he wants to play for.

Brilliant.  Very exciting to see how this pans out.  I was at the Chelsea game and that goal was special.

With Ings age and Watkins sought after, the timing could be perfect for him.

The interview with the PNE manager I posted earlier explains it well.

Their Twitter has lots of clips of him being shown around, & training etc & itís good to see that although he looks quite nervous and serious early on, he is gradually smiling more and more, you can visibly see him getting more comfortable.
The manager says that most of their conversations so far have been about settling him into the team and being supported, rather than football. They appear to have that sensitivity to him never having strayed too far from home before.

You'd think a few months in Preston would make him all the more determined to succeed with Villa. ;)

Leave it! (-: Preston is a good place to be, albeit a little too flat for my liking!

Out of those four I've only been to Wigan which was fine for an afternoon but it may have lost some of its lustre since Risso left.

Preston has a Bob & Bert's. Has Blackpool, Burnley, Wigan or Blackburn? Have they fuck!

I think only Wigan is on a par with Preston for being shit out of those, but it is a tallest dwarf type competition.
