Surprised to see how little game time Andre green is getting at Preston.  Pleased for o’hare Still have my doubts s about him but so did many about the likes of Cahill, albrighton etc, as for Hepburn not hitting the running but let’s wait and see

It is lovely, to be honest.  I tried to tell a Cov fan I know how nice it was, but he’s a millennial so he didn’t understand and just said all Cov kits are awesome...  :(

Was talking to a Cov fan yesterday about Callum. They love him and  can't believe that he is in their team. Let's hope this loan turns out a bit like Jack at Notts County.

Let’s hope.  I really like him and hope he manages to get into the team in future.

Jake Doyle-Hayes seems to be doing well at Cheltenham too.

Scored his first goal for them on Tuesday evening and was voted their player of the month for August.

It's weird re the Russian, I thought the last twenty minutes of the game on Monday night when they went down to ten we were crying out for a player like him to come on. Stretch them with his pace and technical ability. He's not yet been given a run of starts at Tranmere, probably paying the penalty for a silly sending off on his debut but it's odd to think he would be more useful as an option on our beach than for a League One team.

Andre Green didn't get much game time at Portsmouth but ended up playing a role for us last season.

Not ideal that he is not getting many minutes at the moment. Admittedly I don’t know much about how Tranmere or how they play, but I would assume, given the competent staff we now have, that is was expected he would play more than he currently has.
Like you say, that red card almost certainly didn’t help, but he has hardly played since and their results haven’t been great.

When you look at Kenian Davis, who is only six months older I think, he  hasn’t developed as hoped so far and has probably paid the price for us not having the right manager and staff in place previously to oversee and aid the younger players development (with first team  minutes or making  sure they get good loans etc)

Really pleased to see Sarkic at Livingston getting regular starts, making good saves and plainly making progress. A win against an admittedly 10-man Celtic will help a lot as well. Good lad.

Was that not his first league start of the season, Allan?

Glad he did well all the same.
