Great to see him back and in command. The way he manipulates the football is top-class. Only Youri and Bouba compare in that regard in our current squad.

Was worried about his fitness but getting 100 minutes into his legs at high intensity will hopefully stand him in good stead.

Was very good in first half but he had little to do in second half in that role. Pity as would have liked to have seen him released further forward. He was good for us in the past breaking in the box getting on the end of things.

Loved his movement  and passing first half. Looked a bit tired second half which is natural  considering how little  football he has played

Excellent first half. If he can keep that up he’ll be a bargain at the option price.

That first half performance from Dougie made it look like he'd never actually left!
And very impressed that he played the whole game.

I think we have missed Luiz.

Yes Youri is a class act alongside the brilliant Kamara but I think we'd have got Champions League last season with Luiz in the squad, particularly around that tough October-December period last season when we struggled with juggling Champions League games and the league and then again when Kamara had to play centre back for us during last season's injury shitshow

I was really surprised how good Dougie was particularly in the first half. I thought it might take a few weeks to get up to speed but he slotted in with ease. It will be interesting seeing him and Onana.

He was good today but Kamara and Tielemans are both better. We miss them terribly.

I think they are different - each one of them at their absolute best in their respective roles I don’t think there’s that much in it. Regardless if he maintains, and builds on what he brought today it’s an absolute no brainer to bring him back.
