SSN just said he’s flown back and it’s still work in progress so shouldn’t be any problems as long as the work permit is sorted.
He should rest. His arms must be killing him. .....

I'll get my coat

It's a good sign though, I doubt even McGinn can fly.

Why are some panicking over this? There is a work permit to be resolved. He’s probably discussed terms. The price is agreed. I don’t see an issue.

Has he stretched the shirt yet?

A week ago I was googling this guy, I’ve spent all week convincing myself we’re not getting shafted by this buy back clause, but now I can safely say that it he doesn’t sign I’ll kill myself.

Hi style of play would really suit both Jack and SJM, so I hope that this IS happening!  Why couldn't someone ask Christian Purlow just to tip us the wink about this one?  I know he said that 'no-one had turned us down', I hope that includes Douglas.

You can’t just walk in, drop a stinking turd in the middle of the room and walk out like nothing happened.

The last I heard on the rumour underground was that he was granted a work permit for us.

Which led me then to question as to why he wouldn’t be granted one for Manchester City?

So... to me it’s like going on a date with a stunning woman, beautiful, intelligent, flirty etc... only to find that she’s in a perfectly happy relationship in the first place.

That said, I would love him to join us. Really love it - but we shall see in due time.

We will see if this happens or not now. I would love him to join - he’s exactly what we need in this team. And he was apparently training with the team in the USA but it all stands for nothing if he decides to stay put.

The theory is that he would only be eligible for a work permit if a transfer took place, because he'd play most games for us, but wouldn't at Man City.
