If Man City couldn't get a work permit for him, how will we?
Quote from: mr underhill on July 14, 2019, 04:51:03 PMIf Man City couldn't get a work permit for him, how will we?He has played a full season in a top league, and would be in the top few per cent of transfer fees and of wages at Villa. They paid less, albeit not by much, and he wouldn't be anywhere near their one of their top earners. If it went down to arbitration we would also be in a better position to argue that he would be an asset to the club as we have far less valuable players ahead of him in the pecking order.
Does that mean then that if City want to exercise the buy back clause in the future, in order to retain his work permit he would have to be in the top few earners and top few transfer fees for them? If so that suggest s a hefty buy back fee would be required.
He's in Minneapolis according to a twitter video
I hope we sign him today what is the time difference over there.
