XXXXX are preparing an offer and are willing to bid as high as £40m to secure his services. The cash strapped midlands outfit are likely to have to raise funds after spending heavily in the Summer window.

Excellent today, he’s having a very good run of form alongside Pau. Approaching his 250th game for us, slowly building a stellar Villa career.

Fair play to Konsa, he’s finding another level entirely at the moment.

(And no moaning at teammates today!)

Also a great club servant these past years.

I've no idea why but he appeared in my dream last night and was in a relationship with a much older women.

Far more aggressive in his play which was good to see. Polar opposite to what Torres and himself let Mateta get away with at Wembley. Keeping Haaland in his current form so quiet is fair going.

Yeah, and I wish I looked as good and could play football like Ezri. It's a fair cop.

(And no moaning at teammates today!)

The TV cameras did catch him shouting "ROSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!" after Barkley lost possession. It was probably justified.

This guy is close to becoming as good as God. His reading of the game, his total closedown of centre forwards, his ability to draw fouls by putting body between ball and player is incredible and his actual football ability has improved immeasurably.

He is God like in the way that most of us have now just come to expect his level of performance to be as high as it is.

Him and Guehi are nailed on (injury apart) to be the England pairing for as long as i can foresee.

Quite rightly given the armband when McGinn leaves the field.

Fantastic footballer

F365's winners of the weekend:

Quote
Ezri Konsa

That late shift of his body to block a Phil Foden through ball into Erling Haaland was sublime. It felt like a replay of the sort of goal Manchester City have scored habitually over the years, doctored to show how it could theoretically be prevented.

It is impossible to do justice to the levels of concentration and fitness required to pull that off in the 86th minute of a match Konsa dominated before and after too. He and Amadou Onana were fantastic.

I'm not really one for making up football chants online, but I think it's a shame that he and Digne don't really have songs.

Konsa does have a chant. It got dug out in Deventer for the first time since Forest away a couple of seasons ago.
Sadly, there was also some chant for Digne in very poor taste that I hope doesn't catch on.

Konsa is the answer
