Konsa says Emery was right to call the Villa players 'lazy', and admits brontebilly was right all along.

What did brontebilly say? Or was all those weekly ratings just a glimpse into the future?

He's been critical of Konsa (not without cause) for some time now.

I don't think Konsa is one of the lazy ones - his style of play can look casual - I think that's more accurate, but he does need to improve.

I see, well he’s been quite rubbish for ages, so he has a point!

It was Mings at fault for the goal.

It is telling Mings seems to be the person playing someone onside recently. I wonder what our season would have been like if he wasn't injured so early because his default does seem to be to step back a lot.

Yep, great physical defender but positional play has always been a weakness.

I thought he had his best game in some time against Sunderland. I just wish he'd stop moaning all the time and focus solely on his own game. He's a superb defender when on it.

Agree about the moaning.  Coming out and supporting Emery and McGinn as captain this week has been useful though.
He was also superb against Brentford in the cup. He’s got a very good chance of, along with Ghuei being part of Englands first choice centre back partnership at the world cup. Its just a load of nonsense that he’s been rubbish for ages.

12 months maybe, ever since he came back from Euros his head hasn't been right I reckon. Awful v Newcastle, Palace and Everton so far this season.

Mings does take the blame for the goal at Sunderland but Konsa was ball watching again when the ball is in the air.

There was so much wrong with the Sunderland goal, Konsa (and Cash’s) role was last in line with the shoddiness.
Was he any worse than Mings or anyone else vrs Palace and Everton. It seems like eons ago now, but I don’t remember him particularly bad against Palace. Cash and Mings for both dreadful that night.

He is a brilliant player. The whole defence got that goal wrong, it’s Ty’s error that causes the goal.

Mings completely carried him v Everton anyway. I thought he was at fault for all three of the Palace goals. Twatted a shit clearance off McGinn's shins and went off blaming someone else.

It's not just Konsa but if we keep defending like that we will take some hidings against the better teams.

Horses for courses as I thought Cash was to blame largely, for the first two with the lot of them for the third.
Agree with your last sentence. They need regimented training on the disciplined high line of 2 years ago.
