Trippier's legs have gone.

He wouldn't be required to push forward much under Southgate so should be ok. Good for the set pieces too. Chilwell can't defend and I'm not sure there's any other option for left back.

Think you missed the memo. England have a brilliant squad of world-conquering players and it's only gross mismanagement that means they haven't won every trophy for the last six years.

We have to get past worrying about our players getting hurt or hoping they don’t play when on international duty. The better we get the more players we will get participating or starting for their countries. And it’s exactly where they all want to be. None of us want our lads to get hurt but it happens. And it will be shit when it happens again playing for their country or in training as we’ve unfortunately seen.
I want us to overtake Tottingham and reclaim our rightful place of having provided more England internationals than any other club in the country.  Think we need to provide 3 more to do that ...

Kellyman and Feeney to come after Ramsey (and possibly Rogers).

It bodes well for Ezri that Southgate shifted him to centre back rather than putting Gomez there. He clearly sees him as a versatile option.

Very assured performance.
Southgate would be a Dick not to take him.

Well played to Dean Smith too, who always said that Ezri would play for England.

Yes, the competition might not be that fierce if Slabhead keeps on getting games.

But still a big call to make in 2019. Partic for a CB/FB who was playing League One football the year previous.

What’s most impressive about Konsa is that he has worked hard and improved his way through any challenges placed in front of him. What I mean is that he wasn’t always the best, but through his commitment to get better he has overcome deficiencies in his game. He’s now one of the most competent defenders in the PL and is starting to show it for England. His chances to play will be hindered by the coach who will insist on Maguire starting.

Surely ahead of Dunk in the reckoning after this international week.

Maguire will likely play LCB so not a direct competitor really for Konsa. Konsa might get a chance next to him as Stones can hardly be relied on to stay fit this summer.

The 2 RB first choices Walker Trippier but he may need to have Trippier as cover at LB, this makes it likely that Konsa is in because he provides cover at RB and CB.

Played well, looked comfortable when passing the ball - hopefully he makes the squad

But we do have a few right backs that may be ahead of him.

How often is Stones unfit? Seems to play most games for Citeh and he's one of the best players in the world in his position.
