Despite the bukkakefest over Guardiola, Klopp or Arteta who the media feels worthy of it at seasons end, there will only be one real manager of the year.  To have us where we are at the moment with an injury list that would see the end of the NHS is beyond miraculous.  Step forward Unai Emery.

Surely, it's going to Klopp now, regardless of what happens.

I dunno. If Luton stay up then what Rob Edwards would have done would be every bit as impressive as Unai getting us into the top four (which I think he would need to to be considered in the conversation above).

His only genuine challenger would be Rob Edwards, if Luton avoid relegation.

Potentiall back for Spuds at home, missing Fulham, Forest, and Luton beyond this week. Not too bad, aside from the next two.

And Pau back.

I won't hold my breath on the 3-4 weeks, but it could be worse.

"3 or 4 weeks, more or less".

I'm going to hazard a guess it'll be more. A lot more.

Wonder if that might be his slim Euro hopes over as well given he'll probably only just be coming back by the time of the March internationals.

Yes Southgate is going instead to scout Terry Butcher at his over 60s match this weekend instead.

Was Emery asked about Hause or is that unrealistic (both research from the press and the idea that the man is eager, fit to play and training with the first team)?

He's not in our squad is he?

Last I saw, the plan was to get fit enough to try for a loan move this January, but that hasn't happened. So I'm guessing he has yet to get physically back in shape to play.

We've got Fulham, Forest and Luton in the league over next month.. we should be capable of beating them without Konsa.

Can't believe our bad luck this year.

So that'll leave us with Cash, Carlos, Lenglet and Moreno as fully fit defenders. With Chambers, who the manager clearly didn't want too.

Torres to return, perhaps on Sunday. Digne to be back at some point.
