I like Ezri, but he was absolutely fucking dreadful tonight. Terrible performance.

Totally agree!

Is he out for one or two games?

Said on the radio 2 games, as this was his 2nd red.

Callum Chambers step forward.
Konsa shouldn't automatically come back in now after that nonsense.
He's always had shades of attitude with things and if that was an opposing player doing an elbow to Emi we would be crying straight red.
If people choosing to give TM the boot I think they need to have a look at this Konsa poor show tonight
Second red card of the season he has a discipline issue

Konza has been a bit under par for a few games, was very under par tonight but Mings has had multiple, repeated game-changing clangers throughout his time at Villa. Defends with his heart on his sleeve yes, but there's no comparison between them for me. None of our players kept their heads tonight. Maybe there was something in the air. Bizarre game.

16 days since playing a competitive 90 minutes for me was the reason.

Thing is, we were a bit chaotic against Everton in the previous game too. Let's see what happens I guess!

I also really like Ezri but where he was very good last season, he’s been more like solid this season, and dire last night.

I wouldn’t over react to one really bad game, but I think his level all season has been down a notch or two on last.

Konsa was poor, the sending off was stupid, but the big yawning hole in front off them was the reason they struggled, Luiz and McGinn were like the invisible man last night.

He looked like he was carrying a knock to me. His positional play was good but he looked unusually slow at times.

A bit of reflection time will do him good. That sending off effectively killed our attacking intent off in a game that was still winnable. Mings is getting all the pelters but Ezri was worse, because of that moment.
Hause also deserves a start. He's rarely let us down when he comes on. Mings and Konza aren't in great form.

Konsa's a fucking great player and as fans we would do well to remember that.

Even Martinez has made a few errors this season, it happens.  Not many centre backs I'd swap Ezri for.

I’m not sure anyone is saying get rid of him. It was a comment on last night, where he was really poor.

I'm a massive fan but he was anonymous last night.
And his 2 yellows were pathetic.
He tends to come up with the histrionics when he's gets his cautions  but he can't have any complaints about either yellow card.

I'm still a big fan but last night was a horror show. He was very fortunate his second yellow wasn't a straight red seeing the replay post game. Obviously his head was gone at that stage, ridiculous yellow to start with aswell.

I'm fairly sure Konsa/Mings was our partnership v Leeds last season at home when Bamford had a field day. But from the first minute last night it looked as if they were completely unprepared for the challenge. Couple of games out might do Konsa no harm at all.
