That wander forward just before half-time culminating in his left-footed banana shot was so bad that Sky didn't bother showing a replay!

That aside, pretty much a perfect week for him.

Ezri in my opinion should be vice captain

I'm so pleased he scored yesterday to top off a great week.

When Mings got injured I said amounts all the gloom that it was also an opportunity because players would need to step up and fill the voidl.  Konsa has done that in spades. He’s added leadership to his abundent class and is much braver on the ball.

I think Konsa could be up against Grealish at some point this evening. Ezri has his number.

I din't exactly get the vibes that Grealish was likely to be starting this one, after the weekend's games.

Instead of showing a replay, Sky zoomed in on McGinn and Mings having a right old laugh about it.

To be fair he said 'at some point'. If they're losing I can imagine him being chucked on.

I see that in the whole game, Grealish never once tried to take on a makeshift full-back (who happens to be one of the best defenders in the league).

Good choice, Jack. Remember the player you used to be?

He's quite effective in terms of their game plan. He hogs the left touch line, cuts in and then zings a pass in with his right foot. They retain possession and then recycle. It is machine football.

Also, he has an opponent to track and does this very well.

In terms of impact, a shadow of the player that we knew.

Short piece with the man. https://twitter.com/AVFCOfficial/status/1776311194753679869

Don't often hear him interviewed.

Lost his stamp of authority playing at full back. It’s so blatantly obvious. His centre half role and contribution would outweigh any a.n.others tenancy of the full back position whilst Cashy is injured.
