We definitely need another striker.

And another commentator.

The You Tube comments section on the live stream is infested with divs.

I turned it off. It’s murder
I kept it on to see if anybody said anything interesting but I'd be more likely to see Neil Taylor score a hat trick.

We really have pulled the noses pants down signing Jota and giving them GG.

Jota and Guilbert impressive.  Green and Davis don't look like a reliable source of goals.

Every time I see Mings knocking the ball around at the back or striding forward I think how crucial it was that he signed.

One or two silly errors but on the whole a decent enough display.  Gilbert decent going forward, wish we could say the same for Taylor and Green.  Davis does all his good work outside the penalty area.  Grealish all over the park again.  I like the look of Konsa, quite calm.  Bjarnasson is cack. Still some work to do but one would expect that with so many new players and still more to come.

I'd like to see Jack move the ball on a lot quicker. Everything comes to a stop when he receives the ball outside the box. Defenders must love him.
Agree with Hilts, Jota and Guilbert most impressive. BB had a decent half too.

Agreed. It works in the Championship but PL defenders and back tracking midfielders will take advantage. It brings others into play on the counter but when we have the ball everyone gets back and packs the 18 yard box closing down all the space. That’s why I’m fascinated how he adapts to the higher level.

Interesting that Steer plays the whole game. Imagine then that Kalinic or Nyland gets a full game in the next one.

Very much the second string on now, Hogan, RHM, Bree and O'Hare all playing now.

Great hold up play from big Wes, very much Benteke lite.

Passes to RHM who runs into box but hits it straight at O'Leary.

Nice work from Wes.  He's a big unit isn't he.
